This site is devoted to the public commemoration of the Apollo 11 moon mission --  the first time humans walked on the moon and their safe recovery by the aircraft carrier USS Hornet upon their return to Earth. Visit here for the latest updates and information about the special guests, schedule of events, exhibits and activities, ticket packages, and more.

Daytime Event

The daytime event runs from 10:00am–5:00pm. Admission gate closes one hour before end of daytime event.

  • View authentic space artifacts
  • Meet representatives from NASA and the space industry, including special guest Buzz Aldrin
  • Participate in activities designed for all ages

Daytime Admission or Moonwalker Ticket Required

Only tickets designated for this specific event will be valid for the day.

Three Ticket Options Available:

PLEASE NOTE: Although tickets will be available at the door, purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended for quicker entrance. For those visitors who purchase tickets in advance, there will be a convenient check-in station on the Pier. All youths must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
